Surface Piping Generatorは、3DアーティストのAgroさんがBlenderのメッシュ上で頂点を押し出してガイドを作成すると、交差する部分でも綺麗なトポロジーのパイプ形状を作成出来るアドオンです。
生成されるパイプは、太さや断面形状、ベベル量、面への埋め込み量などを細かく調整可能で、急カーブ部分や分岐点、終端部分のスムージング設定に対応しており、複雑な配線やパネルラインでも自然な形状を維持できます。
ミラー機能も搭載しているため、左右対称のモデルでは片側だけガイドを作成し、反対側を自動生成することも可能です。
サンプルではスパイダーマンの網目模様のような複雑な形状でも綺麗に作っているのが分かります。AgroFro’s Shopの公式サイトより10ドルで販売されています。
